Laboratory spaces where testing and analysis are performed using physical samples, chemicals and liquids. Lab stations need to be equipped with a variety of utilities and need to be durable. Student desking area should allow for collaborative small group work.

Science classroom should have a dedicated area with pod lab stations as well as a more flexible seating area for direct instruction. All surfaces are to be durable, as well as water and chemical resistant.

Each Specialized Lab to have exhaust hood, goggle sanitation cabinet, eye wash/shower and smock storage. Ample electrical outlets should be located around the classroom. Some programs, like floriculture, will require additional equipment, such as walk in coolers.
