Exterior spaces can be extensions of the classroom so long as they are nimble and accommodate a variety of group sizes and weather conditions. Spaces shall provide durable seating, infrastructure such as Wifi and power, and provide shade where possible, using canopies or mature vegetation. Landscape features that reinforce the connection to nature shall be low-maintenance and drought tolerant.
