Special Education supports diverse needs with inclusive spaces, fostering flexible, co-teaching environments.
Special Education provides a wide range of student support services, from physical disabilities, educational supports, behavioral health, and psychology services, among others. Spaces such as special needs classrooms, sensory rooms, and specialist office areas will be interwoven throughout campus to support school wide equity and accessibility. Classrooms provide opportunity for direct instruction to a full class while also being flexible to break-out into smaller group sizes supporting exploratory methods of learning. Where possible, SPED students are integrated into general education classrooms as much as possible, in a co-teaching model, with instruction delivered by the SPED teacher and subject matter teacher simultaneously
